Lakoak House is in Garinoain, a village which, together with Barasoain makes up the main population of the Valdorba valley, with about one thousand inhabitants. Valdorba is famous for its romanesque churches (free guided tours for our customers), its scenery (plenty of marked walks), the beauty of its villages, and the abundance of wild mushrooms and truffles. Garinoain boasts several bars and restaurants and there is a public swimming pool. Valdorba is one of the main wine-producing areas in Navarra.

Garionain is in the centre of Navarra (24 kilometres from Pamplona and 15 from the airport) and well served by roads, as it is next to the N-121, and the AP-15 motorway, which are the two main roads in Navarra. The nearest Tourist Information centre is in Olite (14 kilometres), famous for its Royal palace. Our location is ideal for exploring Navarra North to South, from the green valley of Baztan to the Bardenas desert.
